Simple Ways to Improve Your Health Part I

In a busy world that is full of distraction, marketing, and convenience making the right decision is left up to you. Finding resources and knowledge are more available than ever before, applying your knowledge is the most challenging piece of the equation.

In this article I am going to present to you simple yet effective ways to improve your health. You will need to have an open mind and be willing to try something new. Apply any of these simple changes daily and soon they will be your new habit. Just like knowing sunrise always brings a new day, these habits will transforming your health, and before you know it will soon become second nature.

Sometimes making excuses can have a big impact on our decision, most of us have done it. We all can agree that there aren’t enough time in one day to do all that we need to do. Life can be busy, however we do not have to make big changes in order to enjoy an upgrade in our health.

Here are some simple ways you might consider to help improve your health and impact your life. Start small and keep the momentum.

 

·         Start walking every other day until you are able to do a daily walk. Your heart will thank you for providing movement to support its function.

·         Eat six to eight servings of fruits and vegetables daily, they are rich in phytonutrians, fiber, vitamins and minerals.

·         Water is a solvant, it is needed for almost every function in the body. The body in made of up to 85 percent water. Make this drink the number one beverage.

·         Read the manufacturer’s food labels before taking them home, most people feel bab when they have to through food away. Get your facts straight.

·         Eat a large salad either with lunch or dinner, this is a good source fiber. This roughfage will help move food along the intestinal tract and supply you with vitamins, minerals and chlorophyl.

·         Challenge your brain daily either with sudoku, crossword puzzle, word search… use it or lose it. Challenging your brain daily will help improve your memory, assist you in problem solving and helps keep your brain fit.

·         Take time out to rejuvenate yourself. Periodically take time for rest and relaxation, you will have more of yourself to use up and more to give to others.
